animeclips.online (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is a fan-made anime clip streaming and community platform accessible at , operated by a team of anime enthusiasts and video editors based in Canada and internationally.
Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your email address and a username you choose. If you sign in via Google or Discord OAuth, we receive your email address and profile picture from those platforms. We do not receive your passwords from third-party providers.
Profile Information
Information you voluntarily provide: display name, biography, avatar image, banner image, and any social links you add to your profile.
Usage Data
We collect bookmarks you save, folders you create, and interactions with community features such as posts, comments, follows, and friendships.
Authentication Data
We use cookies and browser local storage to maintain your login session. These are strictly necessary for the platform to function.
Communications
If you contact us directly, we may retain your name, email address, and the content of your message.
Direct Messages
When you use the platform’s direct messaging feature, the content of your messages is stored on ACO’s servers (via Supabase). Messages are access-controlled — only the participants of a conversation can read them. Platform operators may access message content when required for moderation purposes, such as investigating a reported abuse complaint. Direct messages are not end-to-end encrypted. All traffic between your browser and our servers is encrypted in transit via HTTPS.

Third-Party Services

- Supabase — database, authentication, and backend infrastructure (supabase.com/privacy)

- WordPress.com — website hosting infrastructure
We do not sell your personal data to any third party. We do not run advertising networks or use advertising cookies.
Cookies
We use cookies and local storage solely for authentication (keeping you logged in). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You may clear cookies at any time through your browser settings, which will sign you out.
Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time by contacting us. Deleted accounts are permanently removed from our database.
